About the Journal

Revista de Direito FAE – RDF is an online journal whose purpose is to disseminate scientific and academic work on legal subjects, analysed across their various branches, with a view to the scientific, philosophical and critical study of legal knowledge. Its principal themes are linked to the academic output of the lecturers and students of the research groups and of the law programme at FAE, as well as of the national and international scholarly community.

The research lines of RDF are as follows:

1. Human Rights and Citizenship;
2. Contemporary Legal Dogmatics and Zetetics;
3. Law, Technology and Judicial Efficiency.

Revista de Direito FAE – RDF holds a B2 rating in the most recent four-year assessment of the Sucupira Platform – Qualis Periódicos.

In the Franciscan spirit, RDF's principal aim is to discuss questions of social inclusion, citizenship and the critical construction of law, offering free and immediate access to its content, on the principle that making scholarly knowledge freely available to the public brings about a greater worldwide democratisation of knowledge.

REVIEW AND SELECTION POLICY

Work submitted to the editorial board is assessed by at least two of its members, using the double blind review system, with the aim of always respecting authors on their merits.

In the event of a tie, the work is referred to a third member acting as a casting reviewer.
